Finn's Recovery Walks - A Small Journey, A Mighty Heart

Finn is a purebred Border Collie from strong working
lines—bred to move, to focus, to have a job. With no sheep to herd, he’s long
since taken on a new role: from sheepdog to shopdog.

If you’ve ever visited us or followed along, you’ll know
Finn- our shopdog, post office companion (logistics manager) and loyal
co-worker.

Recently, Finn underwent surgery for a leg injury. He’s now
recovering at home under close supervision (mine!) with a rehab schedule for
the next 8 weeks. I've been able to relocate my studio/office to home and we
have started with daily short, purposeful outings of five to ten minutes.
Fortunately, our post office is just up the road and escorting all our parcels
gives him the sense of purpose he needs to stay both physically and mentally
well. When he sees parcels being wrapped, or hears the words "Post Office"
or "parcels", up go his ears and he knows exactly which door to wait
by, head tilted at an angle.

So each order we receive becomes a purpose-filled walk. A
slow, tail-wagging trip to send your parcel on its way- with Finn at the lead,
as always.

As a thank you for being part of his recovery journey, we’ll
include a special gift with every order placed while Finn’s on light duties.

If you’ve been thinking of treating yourself (or someone
else), now’s a beautiful time to do so and help Finn with his healing steps
along the way.

With heartfelt thanks,

Ingrid & Finn 🐾
